was a roadie for loads of indie bands in the mid to late 1980s; took a degree from 1989 to 1992; went back out on the road as guitar tech with a couple of up-and-coming bands from London; trained to be a live sound engineer; worked as a live sound engineer and tour manager for five years; co-founded BoogleWonderland Records with Simon Aldous in 1994; managed Umbrella Heaven and Frantic Spiders; moved to Berlin in 1998 and been living there ever since and blah-di-blah-blah-blah
