To All Our Fans Who Came out to the Silver Dollar last night. We wanted to issue a public apology to our fans for not being there. We had to make a tough decision about whether or not we wanted to play after a series of miscommunications lead to a disagreement about funds. The Silver Dollar decided to change the amount that was agreed upon 3 months ago to a significantly smaller amount. We were really looking forward to playing and were disappointed that this issue couldn’t be resolved. Thank you for your continued support.

In the mists of the early morning a lone man runs headlong through the woods madly chasing his destiny. A river lies between him and his goal, but where most would stop he continues on. Each step forward carries him over the water-each step forward a small, unimaginable miracle. He reaches the far bank and begins to disappear over a ridge, but before he vanishes over the horizon a small smile of satisfaction can be seen on his face. He smiles because he knows that he alone built the bridge to his goal. For although he did not know when this day would come, he had carefully placed stones just under the water's surface-stones that only he knew where to find. Even as he appeared to glide effortlessly over the water, it was actually a product of his own hard work and determination. Just as you could not see the stones hidden below the water's surface, you may never understand the trials and tribulations that brought us to this place, but we hope you can sit back and enjoy the miracle of music that is our life as Steppin' Stone.
