With the band forming in 1972, they were influenced by music of the era; Jackson Browne, John Mayall, Eric Clapton, Dr. John, and Johnny Winter to name a few.
Instrumental solos backed by a driving rhythm section are where the band most often finds its feelings best expressed. Whether it is the more traditional slow blues or an up-tempo number bordering on swing, the music is characterized by the emotional energy that the blues can convey. As the band experiences more and more new audiences that energy has been fed by what seems to be a resurgence of the blues.
After being on the club circuit from Montreal to Miami, and serving as the “warm-up” act for concerts for over 20 years, the Band recorded and produced a collection of their originals in the album titled Credits, Debts & Dues.
Shortly after the release of the first album, the Band ventured into new sounds and new original material with the additional vocals of David's daughters, Virginia and Sarah Sterchi. Now the Band performs a mixture of Blues Standards, Originals, and an Eclectic Collection of other types of music.
