    Stereochemistry is a one woman project by Karla Hajman, a singer-songwriter from Belgrade, Serbia. Karla started playing the piano as a kid, as suggested to her by her father who was also a musician. At the age of 16 she moved to Italy where she picked up acoustic and bass guitar, and had her first concerts and participated in music contest with the band Soundwave. During her university years, Karla founded Stereochemistry, a name that represents her both as a musician and as a scientist. Stereochemistry plays mostly as a one woman act around Europe. The music of Stereochemistry talks about life and its love stories, travel experiences and encounters during Karla’s many trips Stereochemistry’s original stage presence has struck many ears and hearts across the globe. Characterized by self-ironic & sincere life stories, weaved into a cabaretish like performance, and trademarked by the unavoidable tutus & quite original costumes & outfits, it certainly won’t leave anybody indifferent. Stereochemistry is currently established in a big fat orange suitcase and a guitar case, and is performing and living between Barcelona, Istanbul and northern Italy. As a homage to these travel experiences, Stereochemistry released a live/studio album entitled "Vagabond Cabaret" in December 2010. No other title could suit this album better, as the whole recording was a true traveling experience itself, since "Vagabond Cabaret" was recorded and mastered between Istanbul, Barcelona, Padova and Venice! "Vagabond Cabaret" is a train you can hop on to, or a post-card from around Europe you can send or sing to a friend, it is a story of a voyage that is to be continued and soon followed by the second chapter..
