Building on elements of the past with a vision toward the future, stereovox combines catchy melodies, meaningful lyrics and energetic drive to create a mixture that is often absent from today's music scene. Forming over the fall of 2005, the band forged a fast bond and recorded a three song demo only four weeks after meeting.
The band began when the brothers Skeriotis, bassist Andy and guitarist Nick met singer/guitarist Michael Muratore through an ad in a local entertainment magazine. After a tireless search for a drummer, local legend Scott Kristoff was landed and the project was off.
The four members bring a wide range of influences from folk to funk and everything in between to the band to create a unique blend of qualities. Solid musicianship and quality song writing have made stereovox a standout at festivals and on stages across the Akron-Cleveland market.

I am asking all of you for help in locating my missing hard drive containing all the music from my last music project. My engineer, MIKE FARONA, OF MIDDLE C MUSIC, Nashville (formerly of the Neon Cactus, in Akron, Ohio), moved to Nashville. When in Nashville, he texted me, writing that he put my hard drive in the hands of Dave Brooks and Jon Johnson (two local producers) instead of giving it to ME. I was stunned and amazed that he would do this, as that was an incredulously irresponsible thing to do. I spent about two years of my life on this last project, hired studio musicians, and spent thousands upon thousands of dollars on it. Farona should have backed up all my music onto something and he did NOT. The arrangements and sessions can NEVER be duplicated. BE VERY CAREFUL WITH WHOM YOU RECORD !!! PROTECT YOUR MUSIC LIKE IT IS YOUR FIRST BORN! I am left with nothing but rough mixes of a few songs off the record. I am lucky to even have these. Farona has not even offered me monetary compensation to attempt to make this right with me, either. That is plainly just BAD BUSINESS. I have tried to locate my hard drive since last February (2007), to no avail. Jon Johnson even physically escaped from me once while running sound at the House of Blues in Cleveland, Ohio and refused to return my phone calls, and Dave Brooks claims he knows nothing about it. If anyone knows ANYTHING about this hard drive, please contact me ASAP. I would also appreciate you all reposting this to your network of friends. THANK YOU. ROBIN GRAHAM, for Evelyn Ruby & Close
