Bio:

Born in Havana, Cuba, nothing is as clear as a life Full of music. After arriving in U.S. shores, and receiving a classical music degree from the University of Miami, Albert Sterling Menendez launched a performance schedule with a diverse roster of artists such as Simply Red, Shakira , Nuyorican Soul, Nil Lara, Dido (Musical Director), DLG and Huey Dunbar (Musical Director), George Benson, Alejandro Sanz (Musical Director), Corey Glover (former Living Colour front man) Elements of Life and Jon Secada among others. After relocating to NYC, the experience of touring and recording with many of these artists introduced the songwriting and production style that is now Sterling Music Productions. Sterling has written and produced tracks for Martine McCutcheon (Virgin U.K.), Cabas (EMI),Masters at Work (Tommy Boy), Elements of Life (Vega Records), Nil Lara (Capitol), S Yume (Sony Japan) Grant Green Jr. (Jazzateria) Raul Midon (Blue Note),Huey Dunbar (Sony Discos) ,Luisito Quintero (BBE),Niurka (WEA Latina) Supervelcro (EMI) as well as his own creations, Aural (Soundmen on Wax) and Sterling Ensemble (Soul Heaven/Vega Records). The Sterling Ensemble inprint has released music under the "Jazz in the House 14" compiled by Phil Asher (Slip 'n'Slide Records). "Southport Weekender Volume 4".mixed by Tony Humphries & DJ Spen (suSU)."Soulful Session Vol.4" Mixed by Louis Benedetti.(Soulstar)."Masters at Work in the House"(Defected) and Hed Kandi's Stereo Sushi volumes 8,11,12 and 13. With the support of respected names in the community that continue to call upon the "Sterling" sound, creators and artists including Mana', Louie Vega, Jennifer Lopez,David Morales,Frankie Feliciano, Ricky Martin, Blaze, Anane and Myrah Carey, have allowed the privilege to record in new upcoming albums.
