Sternklang started to make electronic music in the mid 90´s. Equipped only with an Ensoniq EPS 16+ Sampler(maximum memory was 2MB pr tune,and Sternklang seldom used that much!!), The debut album Freestylespacefunk was made during 1996-1997 and released on Beatservice record 1997. The album recieved raving reviews both in Norway and abroad. It also got nominated for the Norwegian "Grammy". Later followed the 1999 "Neolounge" and 2001 "My time is yours". Both albums went down very well with both the critics as well as the listeners.//// 2006 saw the release of the 4th album "Transistor Beach", an album the critics etiher loved or hated. must be a good thing. it was the first Sternklang album with vocals, and several songs should be hits in Norway, but never were, aaaah well...anyways the 5th album is in the making and as usual, it will be the best one yet.
