steso songs is karolina, 26, malmö. i've been writing songs since forever. i started my first band when i was 12 with some friends. we wrote songs about boys, teenage angst and how pissed we were of life, bitches, school, anything, everything. now, i write about quite the same things. whatever. i live together with my acoustic piano. i can't get along with anyone else, i guess. and that's great because it means more songs, faster.

"Steso Songs är överallt men hon sitter där vid sitt piano. Steso Songs kryper in i mina celler, tar plats som fan och sedan börjar hon riva. Trasar sönder, varsamt och målmedvetet. River ner allt som jag byggt upp.
Tar hål, rinner ut, omformar, fryser till is, hackar bort, bitar flyger, samlar spillror och gjuter figurer.
Det är en himmelsk upplevelse att se och höra Karolina Stenström. På en svettig gata mitt i Malmö. Även de mest hårdföra skivnördarna stannar upp. Plötsligt känns ett tufft tryck på en liten tröja molnlätt. Totalt oviktigt. Budskapet rinner bort till tonerna av din mjukaste mardröm. wonderful, simply wonderful my young friend!!! i enjoyed each and everyone of your songs, each a gem unto itself, but my favorite (and it was hard to choose a favorite, so actually, why did i?) was "Lionheart". everything about it blew me away. you are very, very talented, but you know that. thanks for the friendship and the music. be well . . . and having lived in san francisco twice over the years i "love love love love" the city too :)

Hej hej! :) The gig at Malmöfestivalen on the 20th will be your individual gig or, e.g. it will be a part of Everybody Gets Lonely Sometimes?
