Sometimes it's best to keep your trap shut and let your actions do the talking for you. As the old saying goes: Actions speak louder than words. Honestly, there are simply just too many people out there promising you the world, but in the end most aren't able to deliver anything worth while.
This can certainly not be said about the DJ-combo Stevanez&Juls, they actually hardly talk at all. Of course they know how to combine the letter a with letter b perfectly well, but they prefer silently showing up at the venue and let their superb music taste do the rest for them. The final result: At the end of the night everybody always goes home with a broad smile on their face and a sweet tune in their ear.
Maybe this duo is a bit old-school in their approach towards this fast paced business, but occasionally something antique can be more than refreshing. And this somewhat relaxing method has landed Stevanez&Juls slots at top notch events such as the Love Parade, Loonyland, CSD festival, Dark Side of the Loon and the Musikmesse in Frankfurt. So they must be doing something right.
Their diverse taste in music is also displayed in the variety of acts they have joined forces with. Big boys such as Tocadisco, Alex Gopher, SebastiAn, Boys Noize, Crookers, Lexy & K-Paul, Mr.Oizo, Moonbootica and many more have shared the stage with this up and coming DJ-twosome.
As long as we are talking about good music, the German couple is able to conquer any challenge set upon them. Be it Electro, Techno, House, Indie-Tronic, it frankly doesn't matter. Based on this unusual diversity, Stevanez&Juls are proud residents of the more than popular events Loonyland, Dark Side of the Loon and This is Electro. Regularly playing in front of huge crowds and dominating the dance-floor with their wide range of musical diverseness.
But don't believe for one minute that this is all they have in stock for you. This duo just started producing and is ready for the next level. Their Bonaparte vs. Markus Lange - Anti Anti (Stevanez&Juls Remix) on Freakz Me Out Records was well received and showcased their talent in the studio. It's no wonder their first remix fine-tunement was highly praised by other artists, Stevanez used to be the lead singer and guitarist of various punk- and metal bands. Juls is a skillful saxophone player and also knows how to play a sugar-coated melody on the flute.
Essentially Stevanez&Juls are capable of doing more than asked for any old night. And the best thing about all of this is: They don't even have to open their mouth for it, they quietly just do it!
