After being discovered, at age 17, by country music legend, Dottie West, Steve Wariner became her bass player. Next he went to work for Bob Luman. He soon met guitar legend, Chet Atkins who signed him to RCA records in 1977. Steve scored his first hit record in 1980 and thus began a career that has spanned three decades, 25 Albums released, 18 1's and millions of records sold. In 2009, he won his third Grammy (this one in collaboration with Brad Paisley). Long recognized as one of the true “nice guys” in the music business, Steve continues touring the country and entertaining audiences with his talent and showmanship.

They call them elephant ears, There big beautiful plants with leaves that look something like elephant Ears, And they grow wild where I live, And I see, that to nature they are far more then just a plant, As I watch one ear of this plant hold precious rain water, like a clear crystal pond held with in the crease of The plants leaves, and these tiny little bits of water held by the leaves, come and go and at times ,
They catch the sunlight just right and the glisten like smooth round diamonds, precious and as beautiful To me as any diamond could be, And to me, so much more precious to me, because this is water and Part of life. And the moments of sheer beauty equal to that of any diamond, Are lovingly held with in The hearts of those who are given, The private glory of nature water and sunlight as together they Bless me and now hopefully you, With tiny treasures as beautiful as any, Yet belonging to non, cherished Only by those able to know the there true worth,. There are flowers that grow in the most unlikely places, Like the beautiful lotus blossoms and water lilies
Where there birth begins, they dwell in darkness with far to much water for other flowers to grow, yet these
Beautiful flowers rise from the depths and reach for the sun, and there where they have risen above all that they endured they open there hearts and embrace the sunlight where there glorious beauty and perseverance is revealed beautiful strength!
That’s what the flowers of our hearts are like, when we have gone thru so much that others might not survive it, These flowers of our hearts rise thru our tears and sorrows to embrace the light, so that there glorious beauty might be revealed so that others might see, that Yes even here there is beauty there is hope
