My favourite group is Blondie, my favourite solo artists is Shakira. I also like Dave Edmunds, Joan Jett, Kim Wilde, Aerosmith, most 80's music, some classical stuff like Wagner, Mussorgsky and Orff. I do like some of the modern stuff, Green day, Snow Patrol, Girls Aloud, etc, and also just a little bit of Country and Western, now and again.
Movies
My favourite film of all time has to be Lord of the Rings, closely followed by Starwars, yes all six of them! Then the Matrix trilogy, Predator 1 and 2, Star Trek the Movies but not the TV series.
My favourite foreign film is "Seks Misja." a very funny Polish SF comedy.
Television
I don't watch it, no time and there's nothing on. Except The Gadget Show.
Books
David Gemmell is by far my Favourite author, I have most of his books. Sadly he is no longer with us, but he left behind some of the best fantasy books ever released. My favourite female author is J.V.Jones, original plots and great writing.
I also admire, Ian Banks, Terry Brooks, Diane Wynn Jones, Damon Knight, J.R.R Tolkien, Isacc Asimov, Steven Baxter, Brian Aldiss.
About me: I was born and still live in Nottingham. At a young age I went to school, but didn't like it very much. My first job was in a pet shop, and from there I moved into the IT trade, via labouring on a building site and selling life insurance.
Along the way I married a woman much too good for me who presented me with three healthy but very weird children.
I discovered writing in my twenties, wrote a novel, and threw it away because it was very bad.
Later, I had another go, and the results were better. I have persisted and am now the proud father of a novel, two novellas, more than a dozen short stories, a couple of RPG rule books and am co-author of an RPG module. Hopefully there will be more to come!
