Steve Adams is a world-class Rock/Progressive guitarist who has shared the stage with the likes of Steve Lukather & Simon Phillips, Billy Cobham, Mick Fleetwood, Joe Walsh, Lindsey Buckingham, and many more.
After appearing at the Music Cares Pete Bardens Benefit concert at The Canyon Club in Los Angeles with Pete, Mick Fleetwood, Dave Koz, Ben Harper, Joe Walsh, Sheila E., John Mayall, and many others, Steve concentrated on composing material for his 3rd solo CD, "Camera Obscura", released in 2005 together with re-releases of his 1st two CDs - "Maiden Voyage", and "Vertigo". "Camera Obscura" was a move into a wider range of musical styles whilst remaining true to Steve's own unique sound. There are the Progressive roots, and elaborate, unique guitar solos, but also there is boundless feel, emotion and energy. From Progressive, to Ballads, to Rock, to the indefinable, all tracks remain uniquely Steve Adams.
The release of Camera Obscura was the start of a massive creative push by Steve and his band. Steve, now in full stride, is currently preparing to record three new CDs, which he says "Will show many more aspects of my playing - Progressive, Experimental, Acoustic, and heavier Rock tracks will all be well-represented." Inspired and fueled by the global success of Camera Obscura & the simultaneous re-release of his two prior CDs, Steve's upcoming CD projects are sure to provide his fans with the emotion-filled moments they have come to enjoy so much.
Thanks for adding me to your friends Steve. I wonder, did you remember the night at the Wychwood that I mentioned? (Pic is me with Todd Rundgren at Edinburgh) David
And so it shall be written... All groupies must bow down when in the sacred presence of the holiest Dry White Toast, for surely the spirit of Jeremy and the Mystery Band is upon us, my son.
A few members of The Nyne have started a new project under the name NTNA (which stands for "Not The Nyne Anymore"). Please indulge our egos, by visiting our page and commenting on our music. False praise, shameless flattery, and valid criticism are all welcome.
