I play guitar for The Nickel Slots with my brother Christopher Amaral on drums, Tony Brusca on vocals/guitar, and Paul Zinn on bass/vocals. Check us out on myspace
When I'm not playing my guitar I work as a graphic designer for Circle Design here in Sacramento California.

I have been playing guitar for over 20 years and have played for Red Star Memorial, POPGUN, Grub Dog and the Amazing Sweethearts, Jay Shaner, C.S. and Company, Joe Hardcore, MagnetHead and I was in a super early, short lived version of the Brodys called Brody Lamone. I also currently play in a cover band with members of POPGUN and the BRODYS called The INDESTRUCTIBLES

My previous bands:

The Mission Satellite featured Bobby J (vocals) from Red Star Memorrail, MTX and the Knockoffs, Chris Amaral (bass/vocals) from Red Star Memorial, The Nickel Slots and the Happy Landings, Tom Amberson (drums) from The Knockoffs, Andy Vaughan (guitar/vocals) from the Hypnotic IV and me (guitar/vocals)!

the HAPPY LANDINGs...The Happy Landings included Mark Harrod (POPGUN/100 Acre Wood/Go National), Chris Amaral (Red Star Memorial/the Nickel Slots), Bryce Gonzales (Red Star Memorial/Radio Cure/Ghost of California) and me

Red Star Memorial ••• American Rock and Roll, featured Bobby Jordan, Chris Amaral, Bryce Gonzales and me

POPGUN ••• Pop Rock where the Beatles meet Weezer and the Cars! Members of POPGUN: Mark Harrod, Kevin Harrod, Andy Conway, Larry Carr (Rowdy Kate) and me

Buy my songs from iTunes... both POPGUN and Red Star Memorial are available for download!

Check out my good friends at Reverend Guitars... A Great American Guitar Company with one of the most impressive import lines I have ever played! You'd swear the Stage King Series was made here in the USA. Check out Steve Amaral dot com for my review of the Reverend Charger 290!
