About me:

I'm a Carolina boy, back home after medical retirement from the Air Force in Jan. 2003. Served 21 years, 3 days. Diagnosed "probable" ALS July 2002 at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington DC. Limb-onset, right hand. Two teen boys, keep me "on my toes", gotta love em! Four year old dachshund, Pepper, is my companion. USAF enlisted, mainly worked with munitions, but also as a squadron production supervisor with plenty of flightline time. Also worked the MOCC, or maintenance operations control center. Have lived in NC, SC, FL, Germany, and Turkey. My computer is my window to the world so I tend to get pretty upset when problems arise. Christian, with room for improvement. Optimistic, enjoy the simple miracles of every day life! Guilty pleasures aplenty, Mississippi Mud Cake or almost any fresh-baked dessert my weakness!

..
Send me an IM!

Who I'd like to meet:

Anyone, from any era? Our founding fathers, like Washington, Franklin and Lincoln, just to see how they would react to today's American government. Jefferson, Eisenhower and Patton, Julius Caesar, Cleopatra, King Tut, Noah, and of course, Jesus Christ!!

Help me break 100 guests!

Hey, just wanted to share the guestbook from my main site: www.stevewhitenc.com!

I am so glad you found me on here. I think about you often and ask Jimmy and Dee about you when we get a chance to talk. Life is to busy, we should all take more time for each other. Love your blog about "Sponge worthy". Keep in touch and let me know how you are doing.

Steve, that is a great picture!
And FYI, The Keri B. Still Conference was GREAT; we had over 100 people attending, PALS and CALS and Medical staff, all thanking us for providing this education. It was well worth all the fundraising and work.
