We don't try to sound like any particular artist even performing covers. We pride ourselves on our own original sound. However, the fans have spoken and the vocal stylings of Steve Brooks, the lead singer, are most often compared to Brooks and Dunn.
Deuces Wild, one of the hottest bands in Southeast Kansas, is now branching out. We are in Kansas, Missouri, and looking at Oklahoma and Arkansas now.
Steve Brooks and Deuces Wild has gained in popularity and support and are destined to move forward. The group has opened for Billy Dean, Ty England, Moe Bandy, T Graham Brown, and Ron Williams (Merle Haggard's Step-Son). This group has a pure country music sound with some good ole' raw rock and roll thrown in the mix. It is just the right mix to please all ages at every show. One thing is certain, you will not go away disappointed after attending a venue where Deuces Wild is playing.

Hey Steve: That was an amazing performance at Silverado on Friday and Saturday. Everytime I see you perform, I am just blown away. You have the most beautiful voice. You REALLY should be in Nashville and on the radio. You ARE as good as any one of them. REALLY!!! Your whole band is so talented. Lee is great on the steel guitar, Theresa is awesome on the bass guitar, Steve is a wonderful drummer and Doug is unbelievable on the lead! You guys are so polished sounding. I can't wait to hear you guys again soon. I have to be one of your biggest fans. You should move me up on your friends list. . . HA HA! Best wishes always/
