Steve Byrne’s high energy, physical style of comedy makes him one of the hottest young comedians touring the country today. He was born to a Korean mother and an Irish father, which provides him with a wealth of material. Steve’s filmed parts in the movies, “Four Christmases” with Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon, “The Goods: The Don Ready Story” with Jeremy Piven and Will Ferrell and “Couples Retreat” with Vince Vaughn and Jon Favreau. He’s had his own ½ hour special and a one hour special titled “Happy Hour” air on Comedy Central. He just taped his second one hour special called “The Byrne Identity” and it will be airing in mid 2010. You’ve seen him on NBC’s The Real Wedding Crashers and all over CBS in the national promos for the NFL with Prince and Bill Cower. His standup has been featured on NBC’s The Tonight Show, ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, CBS’s The Late Late Show, Fox’s Mad TV, NBC’s Last Call with Carson Daly and BET’s Comic View. He tours with the popular all Asian comedy group, “The Kims of Comedy”. Steve has been a featured comic in The Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, The HBO US Comedy Arts Festival in Las Vegas and The CanWest Comedy Fest in Vancouver. He has featured for Colin Quinn on a USO tour in Iraq as well as for Drew Carrey in Afghanistan. Steve headlined his own USO tour of Afghanistan in 2008 and is planning another one for the summer of 2009. He has been part of several national comedy tours including The Jameson Comedy Tour, Vince Vaughn’s Wild West Comedy Tour, The Camel Cigarettes Sin City Tour and his own national Myspace comedy tour. He won the Myspace Standup Or Sitdown Comedy Challenge and his Comedy Central Presents was voted one of the best of all time in the Comedy Central Standup Showdown. Steve’s lack of ego and outstanding work ethic make him one of the most sought after comedians in clubs and colleges across the country.

I wanted to find out the record for most shows in one night, which was 12. So, we set out to do 13 shows in one night at 11 comedy clubs in NYC. There is great runnning commentary from a lot of great NY comics in it. You see all the hectic running around in cabs from club to club, bombing, doing great and bombing again.
