I believe people should be proactive rather than reactive.
I believe it's generally better for governments to leave it to the people, rather than to decide for them.
I believe in small government.
...seriously ;) *apologies to ch. 10*

By the way, next time you see Peter Dutton you need to tell him that Christian Hayes says he needs a Myspace page.
Keep up the good work.
Christian.

Nah my application was rejected, maybe they saw I was a Liberal supporter...
It's alright tho, as you said nothing has seemed to come out of it but good press for Kevin Rudd. I don't get how the media can keep saying how good he is when I really can't see anything great he has done except raise taxes and fly around the world.
Also I might ask you but im not sure if you would know the answer or not. Why is the sex change that twelve year old girl is getting tax-payer funded?
Im not for or agaisnt her getting a sex change is her desicion, all be it at a young age but I don't see why we as tax payers are paying for it, shouldn't she?

You probably wouldn't remember me but my name is Dean Wright and I was Nerang State High School's Vice Captain last year and I met you at a ceremony there last year.
I would just like to say congratulations on retaining your seat and to let you know I am applying for the Australia 2020 Youth Summit and will hopefully be one of the people to be accepted. I am also interested in joining the Young Liberals and seriously considering a career in politics.
What a joke Kevin Rudd giving himself an A+ for his first one hundred days in office.
Anyway catch you around and thanks for everything you have done for the Gold Coast!

I just wanted to say all the best in the election tomorrow.
I just watched the ACA final face off between the ministers and their shadow ministers and the Australian public was behind us with John Howard getting a 74% rating in the viewer polls and all the ministers winning in the viewer polls against their Labor counterparts.
Hope you win! Go Liberal!

Wayne Swan has today finally admitted that the Treasurer's criticism of Labor's poorly-developed tax policy is correct.
The Australian has today reported on its website that within three days of the announcement of its tax policy, Labor has been forced to review it.
According to The Australian website, "[Mr Swan] said that review may or may not show that Labor's package is not as generous to some income earners." (theaustralian. news. com. au 22/10/07)
Under Labor, part-time workers earning $41,000 per year will be $600 worse off than under the Coalition's plan.
Mr Swan's poorly-developed alternate tax proposal has further highlighted the risk a Labor government would pose to the continued strength of Australia's economy.
As the Prime Minister said today:
"...I think taxpayers are interested in economic competence. If Mr Rudd and Mr Swan had really understood how our tax system operates, they'd have taken care to check the distributional tables against the threshold that they adopted and are now stuck with, which will result in those taxpayers in middle income land being $600 a year worse off under their plan than they would be under ours."
If it can't get its own tax policy right, Labor can't be trusted to manage Australia's $1.1 trillion economy.

If it's needed, I would be happy to sacrifice a bit of my time to help out with campaigning or something for the election. Help get the word out there or spread the word :D
The Coalition will win this election for sure :D
All the best and good luck!
