From humble beginnings in 2007, The Steve Ferguson Band has evolved into one of the most popular local acts in the Dallas, TX area. Riding the groundswell in the Texas Red Dirt Country scene, The Steve Ferguson Band has brought their unique version of this style of music to the area with rousing success. The current incarnation of the band compiled of Steve Ferguson, Dale Williams, Jerry Don Green and Bryan Hogan, came into existence in early 2009 and has been going strong since. “These are guys that have such long and varied backgrounds in music, the options we have with where to go with our songs are limitless” says Steve Ferguson in a recent interview with The Ranch radio station. “There’s no way to accurately describe what we are doing, except that it’s fresh country music that’s wading about knee deep in the river of rock-n-roll”.
STEVE FERGUSON: Born in Kansas City, Missouri and moving to the North Texas area at the age of five, Steve Ferguson has over the years performed in a multitude of local and regional acts. Upon making the decision that he could make a significant impact on the world of music with his own voice, Steve set out to gather the best local talent to form his band. Competing in the Shiner Rising Star competition and having been featured on radio stations such as The Ranch and TOSSM Radio, he has gathered quite a following. His heartfelt lyrics and vocals, progressive song structures and great live shows epitomize Texas Red Dirt Country. Steve’s CD “The Steve Ferguson Band” has become an internet cult favorite garnering over 115,000 plays on MySpace.
DALE WILLIAMS: Having played guitar for over 25 years, Dale has solidified his talents through a comprehensive knowledge of chord structure, theory and writing. Dale has graced the stage with many acts over the years in both rock and country genres. Dale’s love of vintage rock and country, as well as his ability to add modern, individualistic ideas to his playing leave him in a class all his own.
JERRY DON GREEN: An accomplished guitar and bass guitar player, Jerry Don brings a multi- faceted addition of talent to the band with his outstanding bass playing ability, musical knowledge and understanding of the guitar. His ability to play groove oriented material or remain in the pocket adds depth and dynamics to the bands material.
BRYAN HOGAN: Having played the drums since the age of 16, Bryan rounds out The Steve Ferguson Band by providing a rock-solid foundation for the band to build upon. Diverse in his musical tastes and his ability to play a multitude of instruments, Bryan has added power, dynamics and creativity to the rhythm section.

Thank you sharing your talent for the benefit for Ashlyn on Sunday in Plano. This little girl is a very special little girl. There are so many people that say she is their hero for the fight she has in her to be so young. She is a true blessing to our family and we are praying for her full recovery,
Hey, sure enjoyed the music Friday night at Drunken Mule Denison. And, sorry, but I had a bout of "Oldtimers" hit me and had your band confused with that other Steve band re: the charted song. Had a birthday since, so guess "oldtimers" won't ever leave now.
