The Steve Froese Derek Stevens Curt Marshall Jam Explosion On Your Chest (very nice!) started 2 years ago in a small town just outside Saskatoon called Warman. Derek and Curt were best friends throughout high school. They met Steve at a Mel Gibson screening of "Passion of the Christ" as he wowed them with his flatulence abilities and high flying bass acrobatics. Since then they have been not writing any songs at all. One year ago in 1996 they entered a battle-of-the-bands type competition and didn't win. They were bummed.
Our influences include:
(We don't want to sound like queers or nothing, but) Depeche Mode is a pretty kick ass band! We also like that "You're Beautiful" song that I can't remember the name of... Also comedy... and drama... dramedy... yeah...
Also Derek is a journeyman plumber, Curt breeds hamsters, and Steve mostly just kicks it old school (like NES mario 1 style. Bee dop bop boo doop beep boop) . Derek is Steve's father. We are all professional lumberjacks and we sleep in a 3-level bunk bed. All we eat is large stacks of pancakes.
As far as our mustaches are concerned, Derek is sporting the untouchable Burt Reynolds, Steve is pulling off a wicked Sam Elliot, and Curt has an incredible Tom Selleck.
Also, Derek is an amputee and a ninja, responsible for all known conspiracys. It isn't the U.S. government or aliens! That's just what amputee ninja Derek wants you to thi.....What?....Uhg....Fine!!.... Curt and Steve are ninja's too....
On Mondays Steve works his shoulders and traps, Tuesdays and Thursdays are strictly cardio, Wednesdays are legs, Fridays are chest and triceps, Saturdays are biceps and back, and Sundays are rest. He always begins a workout with 10-15 minutes of jogging or on a stationary bike and ends it with 100 sit-ups on the decline bench. And that is Steve's workout routine.
In the past they've starred in many adult-oriented films under the aliases Dick Showers (Steve), Humphrey McCockus (Curt), and Smash Assholes (Derek). Together they've received a combined number of 3 Oscar nominations (2001-2005), 7 Academy Awards nominations (2002-2005), and a whopping 37 Emmy nominations (2001-2003). As a team they also received the Noble Peace Prize in 2012 for their generous donation, consisting of ALL the proceeds made from these films, to stop hungry orphans with cancer from being clubbed for oil in Alaska.
In June of 2008, the trio was forced to temporarily disband -- Steve had to travel to Rigel VII and is currently on a quest to free the Romulan race from the tyrannic hand of Xenu XXVIII. Also, Curt and Derek are currently traveling the world in a canoe searching for treasure with the intent on burying it in a different place.
