S t e v e G a r r e t t seems to effortlessly blur the lines between family man, pastor, singer songwriter, and worship leader. Uniquely called to do all of them, he is content to live in the tension. Steve is the lead pastor of New River Fellowship, a vibrant church in Franklin, Tennessee founded by Michael W. Smith. Steve has travelled extensively in the USA and internationally as an artist, speaker, and short-term missionary. He has released two solo projects (‘Eavesdropping’ and ‘So Long L.A.’) in addition to being a featured worship artist and lead vocalist on projects for Integrity Music, Promise Keepers, Provident, and Kingsway Music. Steve lives in suburban Nashville with his wife Milissa and their 5 children.

Hey steve Garrett! that was so fun at christian retreat... i never knew u were so funny lol... well hope to see u and your family again soon we all enjoyed being with you the few times we had... the worchip was the best!! i mean the whole time i was there i was like something isnt right u no and then i heared u worshiping the lord with tim and the other people and i was like WOW i can worship now it was like a break thru or something.. so thanks for letting the lord work thru you like that... Steve, I am honored to be included as part of your circle of friends and to have you in mine. I truly love your work and artistry. You and I actually worked together, a few years back, in the Reding area at an outdoor event. Currently, I am in the midst of an outreach project, here in Philadelphia, as we are in the process of re-opening a Church which was shut down in a city that truly needs a real ministry. One in which hearts will be touched in a positive way, resulting in lives that are changed forever. If we can even cut the murder statistics by just ONE, it will be worth our efforts. We'd love to have you take part in this effort and ask for you to pray about making an appearance, sometime in 2008, or whatever God will place on your heart. Even if you chose not to participate, we really appreciate your prayers. Steve! I had no idea that you were on TWO worship albums...I found out on my own through a series of events. I'm so excited and i bought the songs immediately. I only wish i knew sooner. Any other projects that i should know about? See you next week.
Steve, We are so happy that your dad is doing better. We are trusting God for another miracle. We love him so much! We missed you at the wedding. Susie sang at the wedding and Stephen sand during the reception. WOW does he have an amazing voice. He got a standing ovation. Hope to see you all soon.
