I'm now mixing Diane Birch Live @ The City Winery. I recorded the band using a Midas Venice 32Channel board into a Pro Tools HD3 rig. Diane and her fine band performed 8 songs to a sold out house for her S-Curve records official release party. She's really a wonderful, wonderful talent.

Mighty Kate! Katy Pfaffl...all wrapped up...this is a very unique, and extremely emotional record. An, oh so deeply introspective & personal collection of songs.

Producing 3 songs with Todd Alsup for Major Who. I like Todd a lot. He has a terrific voice & a beautiful spirit as well. Whenever you go see a Todd show, everyone just connects with him and I find that to be very special. I did an upbeat song, "Monday" first. It's already making some noise on the street. Now I'm working on "How I'm Made" a very powerful, traditional R&B joint where Todd makes no excuses. Also just started a 3rd song with Todd. The Good Fight was actually on his EP but I'm re-freakin' the jam for the new day.

Katy Pfaffl. If u say it 10 times fast, it sounds like a freight train comin' down the track. Which is how she plays the piano. Influenced by Rachmaninoff, Liszt and others.She's very talented, playing Guitar & Violin also on this, her debut CD. The music is dark, emotional piano rock. She also travels with a string quartet, so throw that into the mix. Aaron Comess(Spin Doctors) on drums, Rich Hammond(Joan Osborne) on Bass. Jimmy Farkas (Joss Stone, Jonas Brothers,DeSol) & Matt Beck (Matchbox Twenty) on guitars too. Just starting to mix these tracks now.

This is a great record with terrific spirit & vibe. James is an excellent songwriter with a cool voice, like early Rod Stewart or Paul Rodgers. He plays all around NYC.

All done with my contribution to Diane Birch's debut album on S-Curve. She's absolutely splendid. What a lovely voice !

The Gay Blades debut CD, "Ghosts", on Triple Crown Records, is now available everywhere. This is a wildly creative 2 piece. Loads and loads of fun. This was the first record I did when I first opened up the studio. I fixed it & mixed it and then they got signed and now it's out. FOOTNOTE ! vote for The Gay Blades' "O Shot" on MTVu.

Continuing my mix career with Major Who, including The Orion Experience, Alec Gross & Road Recovery. Let me just say that Alec has a really beautiful voice and some terrific songs. You should check out his Myspace. He's easy to find in the city too. Matt Brandon & RBOH, Red Badge of Honor. These kids are really good peeps and they have a really infectious, melodious, good vibe in their music. Really pleasant listening.

Joey's also ready to do a new record which will be performed live in the studio... that'll be fun !

Shawn Pander... check him out on Myspace. Shawn & I burned a likkle midnight oil when he was here last. Shawn has a great vibe and terrific songs, with an excellent, classic American voice. Aaron Comess (Spin Doctors, Joan Osbourne) played drums. Rich Hammond,(Jonatha Brooke, Dar Williams) was on Bass. I'm very excited about this project. Stay tuned.

Guy Sebastian's record is slated for release worldwide. Curry Weber from Ardent studios in Memphis hit me up to let me know that Guy was coming back to Memphis to do a couple more tracks for the US release of "The Memphis Album."

The Gay Blades have a record deal now and it looks like the mixes I did for them are going to be the actual release... ahem... congrats to da boyz Mixed a song called, "Traveling" by a very compelling artist named Rob Ward. The track was produced by Major Who, along with Major Who newcomer, Jeremy Sklarsky.

Wrote "Tiger Heat" with Sarah & Sami from Ultraviolet. 80,000 or so Myspace plays. They're on tour now. Checkout their Myspace from my top friends list.

Hashaot's CD is all done and they're receiving airplay in their home country. There's also a video out that doing very well there too.

Joss stopped by the studio to hang out. So great to see her again. As you might expect, she was seduced by the studio instantly.... She'll be workin' here.

Todd Alsup is a terrific songwriter with a great voice. His brand of piano based Rock-Pop is very accessible. Probably why he's enjoying satellite radio play and tons of web hits.

Mixed a couple more for Major Who, Paula Valstein's "Light" & Alec Gross' "All The Pretty Women." All real solid stuff.

Just mixed a radio version of "You Always Get What U Want" by Atomic Tom..... Blistering ! U can catch them playing around town.

This just in... Guy Sebastian's "Memphis Album" was in the top 10 in Australia for 7 weeks. Now Certified Double Platinum & on it's way to Triple P.

Tracked & Mixed 3 songs for Isreali singer Shiri Maimon. Steve Greenberg & Danny P producing. She's a great singer & gorgeous ta boot ! Also, I have to say it's very nice to be back in the fold with Mr. Greenberg after a year away. Loooove Steve & we wish him & all his artists, the absolute best of luck with his S-Curve re-launch.

Joss' latest record has sold over a million worldwide. That brings the total for the 3 records to a little over 8 million worldwide.

Re-Mixed the single for Eran James on Universal Australia.

Mixed a bunch of nice songs for Major Who Media artists - Shayna Zaid, Paula Valstein, Atomic Tom & Todd Alsup. All great stuff & we wish them lots o luck with gettin' the hook up.

Mixed Guy Sebastian for SonyBMG. He's the 1st Aussie Idol winner. Produced by Guy & the legendary Steve Cropper, this "live in the studio" record was rocked by some of the guys from the Stax records, house band & The MG's. Guy is a terrific singer & pulls it off beautifully.

Joey DeGraw's record is compiling quite a guest list of celebrities... let's count!... Joss Stone, Gavin DeGraw, Chris Barron of the Spin Doctors, Leslie West.

Spent most of last year in the Caribbean with Joss. Recorded her vocals for the new album out now and certified Gold.

Congrats to Shanna Crooks for her signing & good luck writing in LA Shanna & I wrote a song, "Life Of The Party".
