Whatever the source, hocus-pocus was at first a general name for jugglers and conjurers and then — later in the seventeenth century — it became a term for a trick or deception. It’s also the source of another common English word, since at the end of the following century it was contracted to make hoax.
Hey, Steve...remember this?!? Regina, SK (Canada) / June, 2008. We sang "face to face" for most of the evening!?!
Well, A LOT has changed in my life, since that wonderful night! I feel I owe YOU, the 'IMFC', & Randy Gregg a debt of gratitude. Thanks, for answering my question in the last issue of the "Maiden Mag". That was an AWESOME picture of you "shootin' the bass"! ;)
Hope things are going well "in studio". Please come back to Saskatchewan, next tour! (CROSSES FINGERS)
