About the tracks from “From Distant Shores” (remastered & expanded)
“Tower of Maxt” & “Vortex” appeared on the original album but “Sonic Portal” (1980) & “Starburst Strata” (1981) are previously unreleased. Both are raw first take improvisations recorded on the spur of the moment in the early 80’s with no prior thought and are a good insight into one of the ways I approach making music.
