Hailing from Hertfordshire and born in North London, Stevey Jay is the founder of Suburban Entertainment a promotions company/label and events management outfit based in the suburbs of the uk. They specialise in urban music and hold events in around the major towns and cities and also provide nightclubs with DJ's and music artists to fulfill particular urban needs and requirements. .
Stevey is a music artist signed to his own label Suburban Entertinament. He is currently on the rise within the uk urban music scene and is tough competition for other male UK artists of his sort. He has an amazingly and powerful musical flow and capture's his audiences attention with creative and honest self-written songs that feature an intelligent mix of RnB, Hip Hop and Garage.
At 24 he has performed at many prestigious clubs, festivals, bars and radio stations with Suburban Entertainment in and around Europe where he holds an event called “Sweet and Sexy”.
He released his first solo EP under Suburban Entertainment at the end of last year entitled "The Streets are Watching" and also released two mixtapes entitled "Sweet and Sexy part 1" and "Sweet and Sexy part 2" with the help of his two DJ’s Spyro and G-One.
He is currently in the studio finishing the "Streets are watching vol2" project which should be ready for digital release by the end of September this year and in stores by early October 2009.
If you listen to his music you will expect to find it diverse and experimental and this is exactly what makes his sound so unique and what enables him to stand out from the rest.
