    Steve writes and records in Minneapolis, Mn. He has released six cd's of original music including three with The Brass Kings. His songs have been covered by other local artists and have been featured nationally on Pacifica Radio, National Public Radio, Minnesota Public Radio, Twin-Cities Public Television, in the score for Zenon Dance Company's 'Six Mile Road' and in the soundtrack for the documentary 'Bill's Big Pumpkins'. Steve He has appeared solo at the Healdsburg Guitar Festival (CA), Newport Guitar Festival (RI), Newport Guitar Festival - Miami (FL), Intercontinental Guitar Festival (CZ), The Minnesota Resophonic Guitar Festival (2001 - 2003) and the Minnesota State Fair. As a solo artist or guitarist he has appeared in support of songwriters Jimmy Lafave, Tom Russell and Fred Eaglesmith. With alt-folk trio The Brass Kings he has supported David Lindley, Beausoleil, Trampled By Turtles, Hackensaw Boys, Blueground Undergrass, Greensky Bluegrass, The Crooked Jades, Daisy Mayhem, Boiled In Lead, The Wayword Sons, Pert Near Sandstone and Hillstomp. With The Brass Kings he has played the Global Roots Festival, the Minnesota State Fair, KAXE Riverfest, Rock Bend Folk Festival, Unvarnished Music Festival, Boats & Bluegrass Festival, North Versus South Festival (KS), Santa Anna Hill County Blues Festival, Famous Dave's Blues Festival, Kandiyohi County Fair, Jackson Music Festival, Aquafest (ND), Logjam Music Festival and the Minnesota Old-Time and Bluegrass Association's winter and spring festivals.
