Steve Lamacq is acknowledged as one of the UK's most committed supporters of new bands.
You can currently hear him present the following shows:
RADIO 1 Monday nights at 9pm
RADIO 2 Wednesday nights at 11.00pm
6MUSIC Monday-Friday 4-7pm.
Steve is also a journalist and spent five years working for NME. He has also written for The Guardian, The Observer and in the depths of time, his own fanzine A Pack Of Lies. His book 'Going Deaf For A Living' was published in 2001.
