There is a 4-CD John Peel box set coming out on Universal - with full cooperation of the Peel estate - on October 26th 2009, and "Bored" from Popular Music In Theory will feature on CD 4! The box set looks amazing. It comes in the form of a hardback book which tracks the history of the Peel show chronologically.

'Trust Me...' - the new album from Draygo's Guilt will be available for download from www.draygosguilt.com on 12th October. We're making it free because we'd like you to have it and to pass it on to someone else.
Some of our kinder recent reviews... "Too dark and totally unsignable" - major label a&r scout
Draygo's Guilt play live throughout 2009, particularly our Christmas party at Alan McGee's 'Greasy Lips' on December 5th where we are giving away pressed copies of the album with every ticket.
Its been selling faster than we expected, and we currently only have around a quarter of our stock left - so we thought we'd better you all know that if you want a copy then now would be a good time to pick one up! If you buy it from the link above then you're buying it direct from us, the label aren't taking a cut - so its a bit like Fair Trade for struggling musicians.
International mail-order is available, just follow the instructions.
Thank you very much, and sorry for making a mess of your profile. If its any kind of consolation, we don't have a MySpace bot, so I'm leaving these comments the old fashioned way. Three -and-a-half thousand of them. My life is so exciting.

Hey! Appologies if this is the second comment we've sent you recently...bit of a mix up in the bands communication :)
Anyway.. we've been a little quiet for the last few months but we are very pleased to announce our new EP is finished and up on our myspace! It's called Bright Lights and has four brand spanking new tracks to blow your mind. Please have a listen and tell us what you think and if you love it, buy it! :)
Us again, we meant this Saturday not Sunday. D'oh! What were we thinking?
So the session is on this Saturday's show and not Sunday as we mentioned before. Hope that's straight now and we all understand when the session will be on the show. Saturday not Sunday.
If you have any questions about when the session will be on the show this weekend (Saturday not Sunday) then do please get in touch, but basically all you need to know is that it's on Saturday and not on Sunday.
Remember, to hear the session you recorded with us on Thursday, you will have to tune into the show this Saturday. And not Sunday as we said before.
So, that's the solo Steveless session, on BBC Radio Bristol Introducing, this Saturday (and not Sunday!).
Thanks so much for an unforgetable session. We really enjoyed you being on the show.
Thought we’d let you know that the session will be broadcast on BBC Radio Bristol Introducing this Sunday morning between 1-3am. Hear it live or anytime in the 7 days after broadcast using the on line "Listen Live/Again" feature on the BBC i-Player, there's a link to it from our profile.
Happy Dynamic Living!

FV = awesome heartfelt rites of spring-esque hardcore from south wales! WP = local crust stalwarts, ex-gurkha / ripcord / cruelty / dumbstruck and so on and so on...
Good morning, i wanted to let you know that i'm playing tonight in a little village called Pensford. It is just outside Bristol, so i thought i would mention it.
I hope you can make it.
Best,

Thank you for making wonderful music in 2007. The Obligatory Love Song features in Brierly Hill 90210's best of '07 podcast. Search for it on iTunes or find it at http://web.mac.com/jmiller22.
Hello Dan. Here follows a rave review for your new album:
Your new album is absolutely bloody amazing.
I'll expand on that a little bit. It is the most fun, exciting and creative music around. It's, like, really really really good. Even better than that. It's all chaotic and exhilarating, and it makes me feel very happy. It is, in short, a work of art.
My favourite bits are The Obligatory Love Song (I'm a romantic at heart, what can I say?) and Patience (especially the guitar bit at the end). Steveless is a Bad Friend clearly 'rocks out' too.
Now, I don't want to make a fool of myself here, but I'm going to be bold and believe that I am the Mark to whom you refer in your sleeve notes, which, if so, is simply the most incredible thing! Honours come no higher. Thank you!! Even if it's not me, thank you!!
