The songs on this CD were recorded more than thirty years ago. Originally pressed on a 13 track vinyl LP, the album sold more quickly than expected, and there were insufficient resources at the time to follow up with more pressings. Consequently, the LP died on the vine, where a potential success was looming.
Now, more than three decades later, there has been evidence of a new found interest in these songs. Many things in life deserve a second chance, and this CD is an opportunity to introduce (and re-introduce) some pleasant, hauntingly melodic songs, most of which tell stories of unrequited love. We hope you enjoy them.
Though all of the songs on this CD were recorded in the early to middle 70’s, only thirteen songs appeared on the original vinyl pressing released in 1975. An extra five songs are included on the CD that were originally meant for a 1976 LP release following the "Parting’s Just A Little Death" album.
