On the Lot, was a great Idea, I for one should know... HEHE... Execution and format was the problem. A group of hand picked Rookies working together to put together a top of the line feature film working together filming the behind the scenes on a per episode basis, with the audience picking the final spot to goto the hardest worker or best Rookie Director for his office "On the Lot" would have done great I turly believe that. Having the TV audience witness the per episode MAGIC of movie making. A handful of unknown directors hand picked by Mr.SPielberg working together with ideas and actually working on a Feature Film Idea from Dreamworks SKG vault... Would have made American Idol's ratings look Sad...

You could always try again with "The Producer"... :P

anyway my 2 cents.
