Steven Bates is a California musician who grew up in Fort Bragg. He started playing music and school dances by the age of thirteen. After graduating, he set off to southern California and has played all over the area with different bands and individuals. Knowing that the song is the currency he has written numerous songs always with an eye on getting people out there to dance. With a revolving line up that includes players with Van Morrison, Sons of Champlin, the Byrds and others he dishes out original guitar driven music. When he plays acoustic he delivers a fast paced strumming technique that has a rock and roll vibe unto itself. His determination to always leave audiences with something memorable is a good reason to catch this performer.
I just wanted to tell you that Uncle Steven's All Along The Line is being requested on a daily basis. And it is always followed by an, "Again please". Love you!
