There seems to be some guy with the same name who also keeps "appearing"
with us to play around on the djembe (drum), the taisho goto (harp) and miscellaneous singing and crystal bowls, and the like.********************* As opportunities are provided we look forward to collaborating with other artists and musicians. There's no telling what all may unfold as we stay "open" to the "flow" of the Spirit's leading...and see what wonders may transpire. We have a feeling it'll be a real and noteworthy "band" of kindred spirits...before long!

Very inspiring writing.)

This is one of my favorite places to unleash upon the world some of the intriguingly peaceful and joy-filled words and sounds that seem to keep coming to me. So glad you could stop by! I do hope you'll find something uplifting and meaningful here.

"Soulful Folk". "Singer-songwriter". Those are what my all-original songs with vocals and acoustic guitar usually get tagged as. Many of the recordings are pretty much "unplugged". ("Sleeping Beauty", "I Am an Eagle", etc., sampled above) Since, at this stage of the journey, I still do all of the background vocals and intruments myself, it tends to speed things up to go ahead and get my message out there...and skip past some of the artistic perfection issues--for better or for worse. At least this way I do get to go ahead and share the messages I'm so passionate about sharing. Now...[ahem] ::smile:: ...once my "band" is fully formed, I'm sure it'll take things to a whole different level...and we'll be much more joyfully "plugged in". But many of you have requested the "unplugged" versions, so I'll be continuing to release them in response to your enthusiastic interest. Thank you for graciously receiving my heartfelt messages and songs...and encouraging me to keep "taking it to the next level" of sharing and growing, both personally and professionally.

I also continue to create a unique blend of meditative music, and soulful, harmonic chant. It often includes quiet, but passionate "spoken word" poetry. (e.g., "Divinest View" or "Sailing Waves..." Just the "worded" part is sampled above. Many find this music--in its extended form--quite relaxing...and, oddly enough, "energizing", in a deeply "soulful" sort of way.). This special blend has often gotten "rave reviews" from people who seem to have an appreciation for the more contemplative and peaceful elements in music and life. (These pieces are twice as long as most songs [6-8 min.], but they are much shorter than much of the full scale meditation/spa/yoga music circulating today. This way, you get a nice "little dose" of the meditative experience blended with a small, life-affirming poetic piece to encourage a contemplative moment when you may not have time for anything more extensive to let yourself relax into. Since it's a "light" meditative piece, it may also be good, as some are finding, to listen to before or after,as a half-way point to either slow down and ease into relaxing before...or double the "refresh" effect after...a deeper, meditative time.)

I am now preparing to share in increasingly bigger ways. I feel that I'll be travelling to share in many places. Yet, my way will likely be an unconventional one. More than most, I'll be open to sharing with smaller groups, for example. (I enjoy sharing with people "up close"!) I like to work with fundraisers, charity, and other "win-win" programs, and have quite a few ideas about how to make my sharing with churches and other groups a reality who otherwise, due to their smaller size or other limitations, may not be able to bring in much in the way of music. I also enjoy sharing material from my upcoming book and hosting "workshops" on the body's energy centers and their connection with the soul's shifts of awareness in its ongoing 7-year cycles of life. There's just so much wisdom in that. I've studied this for several years now, and I love to share about it. I love to sing, perform passionate "spoken word" poetry, and share in workshop settings as well.
