FOR HOPEFULLY A NEW HBO SERIES
i found a time life book at the library of congress the last time i was in DC..... it covered over 200 pages of the build up and overall summary of ww2 from the INTELLIGENCE perspective ... from all sides too .. not just America, but America, and the up, and even the Germans and the Japanese … and a lot of the other countries that got wiped out fast
it was amazing…. or it is an amazing one of kind of book ... and my approach will be to shoot this show without a single ORIGINAL battle scene ..... My focus will be a period piece focusing on all the intelligence and brain power that when into all the mitigating planning ... of WW2 ....
i want to do a show completely on the whole 200 pages in that book ... but from every aspect of intelligence gathering, processing and executing ... but no ORIGINAL battle scenes ....

all from the meetings and conferences and phone calls and what the spies see and report and how they do that ww2 spy thing they did ... and no ORIGINAL war scenes ....
And so much romance .... and so much of the life like it was like in America during those very lean and long years ... I REALLY WANT TO DO A PERIOD PEACE OF EVERYTHING LIFE WAS ABOUT BACK THEN .... AND WITH AS MUCH CONTENT SET IN AS MANY DIFFERENT SETTINGS OF THAT TIME ...
and lots of lots or Rosies the riveters .... And all the history of that time .. ESPECIALLY THE CULTURE AND MINDSET OF AMERICA IN WARTIME IN THAT TIME OF WW2...
if planned right this is a 10 year show ... at least ... THE AMERICAN INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY WAS INVOLVED WITH THAT WAR FOR ALMOST 10 YEARS ...
and ALMOST all the records are available FROM ALMOST ALL GOVERNMENTS .. ESPECIALLY THE U.S. THE U.K.. GERMANY AND JAPAN...
and COUNTLESS people involved wrote journals DURING and AFTER the war and some still alive but their journals are still around and so many ideas to get based on content from letters too… tens of thousands of letters ...
and with no ORIGINAL WAR SCENES .... Means this can be a very cheap show ... especially if most background scenes are in green screen ..
My focus is content ... not FANCY camera work .... I WANT GREAT content WITH AS MANY STORY LINES AS I CAN GET MY HANDS ON ....
I WANT ... written drama expressed through actors .... And all fact (of course) ... so need for the writers to stress content every week ... they can focus on very inexpensive scripts ..

.... my dream is arron sorkin to oversee the scripts and my dream of dreams is steven spielberg to executive produce this and tom hanks to narrate it (it would tom 10 minutes a week)
and the best part is i can get almost an endless amount of real footage from many governments now ... AND THE ARCHIVES IN MEDIA OUTLETS ... almost all for free ..
and can cherry pick from almost any WW2 movie ever made for combat/battle scenes to copy and paste from ... and HBO has the rights to a BAND OF BROTHERS ..... so there is literally countless real and fabricated footage to choose from for the battle scenes ... like saving private ryans opening scene of D-DAY and scenes from pearl harbor
i have so much video content out there i just got to find it ... i was just at the LIBRARY OF CONGRESS IN BOTH 2005 AND 2006 .... and was talking to the workers .... and they have so much video and radio and newspaper content ... and they’re the ones that found me that book on the intelligence perspective of WW2 … after I asked for it
AND BECAUSE I WONT CREATE ANY ACTUAL WAR / BATTLE SCENES ... THIS SHOW WONT COST NOTHING TO MAKE !!!! THE WHOLE IDEA IS USE ALL THE FOOTAGE ALREADY MADE ... AND IF IT’S FROM A COLOR WW2 MOVIE …. I WILL PUT THE SCENE INTO BLACK AND WHITE ... ALL REAL OR FABRICATED BATTLE SCENES WILL BE SHOWN IN BLACK AND WHITE
this show can be produced for very little (for a war TV show ... and i don’t think there has ever been a war TV show ... ever ... this would be a first) ... and can go into the heart of what happened to America during WW2 ..

AND ALL THE BACK STORIES TO THE COMMITTMENTS MADE BY AMERICANS ... i want to spend at least 1-2 years just on the build up to the Americans joining into the war … AND THE VERY FIRST FEW SHOWS I WANT TO SHOW THE END OF WW1
and again my focus is what it took to fight this war with the power of the brain ... those guys in INTELLIGENCE worked nonstop and have a great story to be told ...... and i love this book .... it is so bad ass and shows so many wonderful stories on the mental fight it took to take on adolph hitler and those super bad ass German soldiers and their INTELLIGENCE network .... which was the most brilliantly insane collection of men this world has ever seen ...... and fear less .... those Germans were something else (and wait till I tell you about the crystal meth they were on) ... i still can believe little ass Germany f**ked up so many people .... and took on the British, America, and Russia ... all at the same time
and little ass Japan killed over 10 million Chinese
and this kind of show or even movie has never been done before ... and is not a threat to national security in any way ... and could be one of the greatest period pieces ever done .... and would be amazing to see how war is battled in the INTELLIGENCE world
if done right ... this is the kind of show that can win so many awards ... and it doesn’t have to have a 'standing cast' this can branch out in any direction it wants and hire hundreds of MAIN CHARACTERS over its 10 year run

i have never been more touched in my life ... i have never been more motivated in my life
dude ... sorry ... mr. spielberg ... that movie is priceless and flawless
it is the epitomy of master film making ... every frame and every scene was immaculate ... and the actors were in a zone like i have never seen before
the part that ripped me open and made me bleed all over soul was when schindler broke down in front of all the slaves ... and he was so upset with himself because he didnt sell his watch to help save more slaves from a horrible death
from that moment on ... i knew that i would spend the rest of my life in the mind set of mr. schindler ... that my only purpose was to help others
steven that movie is simply the masterpiece of our time ... it is our mona lisa
