Ive neglected this page for a long time!
Im 26 years old. I live in Aberdeen, Scotland.
I write songs, sing and play guitar/ keyboards/ synth and percussion.
My main focus is with the band THE LITTLE KICKS. Check us out in my top friends.
I like to be busy so when im not writing and playing with THE LITTLE KICKS I do some accousticish stuff on my own.

Basically, I write about three songs a week and as well as writing the bands material i always have worthy material leftover which either doesnt fit our sound or is something else entirely so here is where it can have an output.

After heaps of requests and moans that i dont promote myself enough, Iv'e finally got round to putting my solo music online so feel free to have a listen.
FOLK SONG EP - 6 tracks - 2005
Ive put some songs on from my first solo ep. It was recorded in 2005 (between January and June 05) in a friends front room using akoustic guitars, electric guitars, keyboards, drum machines, various fx and a digital 8 trk! Lo-fi you see is the way forward! Anyway, check out the tunes and if anyone wants to book me to play accoustic or buy a cd send me a message! Although im proud of these songs, its wierd for me to listen as they seem a long time ago, id like to think ive become better at writing / playing since then but i probably havent! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NEW EP/ Album - planned for 2009
Im away to do another EP in the coming months, although the band are recording an album too so its a busy time. Ive set aside nearly 12- 20 songs to reduce to 10 which will either be a CD album to sell at gigs or an EP. Possibly going to get a band together for this - looking for bass guitarist, 1 x guitarist, string players, female vocalist and 1 x key player. If they can all sing - magic. I may even do a vinyl release - if pennies will allow.

I also enjoy recording all the time so sometimes i record other peoples songs that i like so that i can try and learn new recording / things so ill upload some covers from time to time too.
HOWEVER, this is just a side project. My band is my main interest, so check out THE LITTLE KICKS too! -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I also co-created and run /DJ at the "Dirty Hearts Club" clubnight every Thursday night @ club snafu in Aberdeen. Djing is a fun hobby and over time Ive been involved with various nights and DJed alongside MSTRKRFT, The Presets, Foals, Zane Lowe / MTV Gonzo and heaps more. Weve held afterparites for Hot Chip, The Rakes, Sons and Daughters, Frightened Rabbit and more too.
