Where to start? For now just start w/ the present: I am a Full-Time musician, and have been for the past 10 yrs... I went to Lander University where I can remember touring w/ my band UNDUN at the time, trying to study in our van, while on the way to our shows! I was a Kappa-Sigma which has opened up some doors in my music career... But back to the music.. Its my passion, and I really dont know what i would do w/o it in my life. Ive played in several bands, and around 2002 i had to leave UNDUN for personal reasons as we were basically at our peak.. I moved back to Greenville,SC where i currently reside, when i am not on the road.. I started playing solo/acoustic shows around the south-east about 3 months after i got settled in back here in Greenville,SC back in 2003, and I got tired of playing like 23 acoustic solo shows everymonth, so back in MAY 2009 i hooked up w/ 2 great musicians and we formed "The Steven Waddell Project"... and weve been going nonstop ever since... We are a trio.. Im the lead singer and guitarist, and currently Shandon Fair from Greeville,SC is playing Bass Guitar, and Eric Mullinax is playing Drums and backing vocals... We clicked immediatiely and weve done atleast 80 shows together since may 09.. But I still do acoustic solo shows on our nights off, so basically between the full band and my solo shows i average 250 shows per year! So i am very blessed... We are currently in talks w/ several lables, and management services, and tour managers, but we are taking everthing one step at a time.. We have really buckled down lately w/ our writing , and plan to have an album out by Jan.2010 and i cant go into details but a college tour is probably in the works for 2010 but until paper work is signed i cannot go into detail about this (for legal reasons) BUT STAY TUNED BECAUSE 2009 WAS A GOOD YEAR FOR MYSELF AND MY BAND BUT 2010 IS DEFINITLEY GONNA BE THE YEAR YOU START TO HEAR ABOUT "THE STEVEN WADDELL PROJECT" ..CHEERS, AND THANKS TO ALL THE FANS WHO CONTINUE TO COME OUT TO OUR SHOWS AND SHOW YOUR LOVE AND SUPPORT AND ALSO MUCH LOVE TO THE VENUES IN THE SOUTH-EASTERN UNITED STATES WHO HAVE BEEN GREAT TO MYSELF AND MY BAND...

Keep your friends close, and ur enemies closer.. life on the road is hard but so are we. It takes a special person to do what we do!!!

Still jammin I see...its awesome that you are playing out so much, I just bought a new house and im still getting the studio room setup so i havent recorded much in a few months but when its done i have alot of songs to record, but you are doing shit the right way...playing live and all...well I wish you good luck on your journey and hope to hear you on the radio soon. hey man, nice tunes. i like the new song photograph of you. i can't wait to play when we get back from hell man. i'll probably be a little fucked up and crazy when i get back after all this but after a couple months i'll start realizing i'm not in a war zone anymore haha. man, check out the moments notice page. the cover of jumper by third eye blind we did pulled over 34,000 plays in 4 months!!! we'll be doing that too once we all come together as one band man.
Hi Steven, Just wanted to drop you a line and thank you for your support. If it were not for you guys and the other talented musicians I have met during my time at Medusa's, I wouldn't be looking to stay in the music/bar business. All my friends I have met have encouraged me to stay in this field and I am searching for that perfect venue as we speak. keep up with my page and I'll be posting plenty of updates.
