STEVE PEPPER has been creating original American roots music in the Mid Atlantic region for several years. Stimulated by American culture, Steve Pepper's song writing style brings his eclectic influences to his gritty, down-to-earth songs. Steve's songs are insightful and unapologetic, and he delivers them with honesty and conviction. The Steve Pepper Band has developed a cult-like appeal among different crowds in the tri-state area.
JON MONCK has served as the sometime bassist/vocalist for a half-dozen local bands over the past decade (including The Scatologists!, I'm Not Sally, *BLX, Cure For Pain, and Origami for Addicts). Sold on the quality of Pepper's songwriting, Jon joined the Steve Pepper Band and has enjoyed learning the ins and outs of the not-so-obvious chord changes. He also plays harmonica when nobody's looking! Next to Pepper, he is the longest-standing member of the band.
No stranger to the Steve Pepper Band, ERIC MILLER played electric guitar on The Information Age and Memphis and was a member of a few early embodiments of the Steve Pepper Band. He rejoined the band in January, 2005 - for good! Prior to his return, Eric scoured the regions blues clubs, honky-tonks, and biker bars with Dave Marshall and the Mojo Band. He has also played with Alligator Zydeco and lent his guitar stylings to projects by such varied singer songwriters as Dan Mechem, Pat Warn, and Bruce Lauer.
Drummer extraordinare STEVE POLITOWSKI, is currently expanding his Quomodo Music products business, and never gets out of the shop! "Pulse" will soon be returning to the studio with Pepper band, and working on his own songs for an upcoming CD. Having played with several local bands, and numerous studio dates for solo artists, Steve is ready to use his recording experience with DelFuMo, Mother's Magillicuddy, as well as the Steve Pepper band to produce his own songs, playing most of the instruments!
