Guitarist, vocalist, producer and composer Steve Postell relocated from New York City to Los Angeles, where he opened a studio/production facility in Burbank with Steve Ferrone (illustrious drummer for Average White Band, Eric Clapton, Tom Petty) and Grammy award winning engineer/producer John Jones who has worked with Duran Duran, George Martin and Celine Dion. This past year Steve coordinated the "20th Anniversary Edition of Famous Blue Raincoat", a Jennifer Warnes, Leonard Cohen CD, released August 7, 2007 to rave reviews on Shout Factory records. Steve is currently touring with Jennifer as guitarist/vocalist and musical director. His last CD, "Until You Get Here" is available on Renegade Records, and he has just completed a solo CD for Immergent Records, entitle "Time Still Knocking". The CD, which released in October 2008, features a host of brilliant guests who have worked with Steve over the years. These include David Crosby, Jennifer Warnes, John Oates, Robben Ford, Eric Johnson Paul Barerre, Dave Koz and many others. He also produced a just released CD of Jazz standards by James Torme, son of Mel Torme. Steve has recently finished creating his new studio, "Pier Street Sound" in Santa Monica, where he is working on jingles, television/film scores and record production. During production of the new release, Steve signed a worldwide management agreement with longtime friend and colleague, Dan Nash at Just Great Management.
