Steve Raible is a seasoned musician who has been on the northwest musical scene for 35 years.
Steve is a soulfull player of Blues, Funk, R&B and Reggae with a commanding ability on Guitar, Bass and Vocals.
With numerous years of live performing, Steve brings his experience to the stage creating solid grooves and team playing for the enjoyment of audiances. Steve has played many major Northwest Festivals and Special Events. He is not to be confused with the other newscaster Steve Raible, as he is the northwests original Steve Raible and was the only Steve Raible on the scene long before his namesake counterpart!-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Steve is currently gigging around the Northwest with the latest incarnation of the Newscasters using seasoned musical veterans Kevin Cook on drums and Dave Bishop on bass. In his spare time he is refurbishing his recording studio named “A Room With A View”. Steve has released two solo CD's and one group CD and working on new material for future release.
Over the years Steve has played Blues, R+B, and Funk with Charles White Band, Traditional Roots Blues with Chris Stevens Band, High energy Reggae with Psycotasia, R+B and Rockin Soul with Horn band Freddy Pink and the Hightops,who solidified dates as opening act for national bands Tower of Power, Sly Stone, and Johnny Rivers. Steve also has performed with Robin Moxey, Rod Cook and Toast, Nick Vigarino, Miles From Chicago, Bad Dog Blues Society and numerous other Northwest show and club bands.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Get the Feeling!
