Steve Reeb (guitar, vocals, extension cords). Sometimes with Tom Pearson (percussion, vocals, duct tape, asparagus).
Influences
Johnny Cash, John Prine, Barenaked Ladies, Howie Day, Toad the Wet Sprocket, David Gray, Mississippi John Hurt, Hank Sr., Hank III, Glenn Tilbrook, Stefan Grossman, Chris Isaak, Outkast, The Cure, Gin Blossoms, Gavin DeGraw, George Strait... and Beverly!
Steve Reeb has been playing music in one form or another since, well... for a long time. First as a lead singer/vocalist in the Belleville, IL group "Symptoms" and then in other various groups. After a few attempts to "get the band back together", Steve decided to just go out solo acoustic and have fun with it.
The result is that, a few years later, Steve has built a reputation in the St Louis, MO area (which includes Belleville, IL) as a guy who puts everything he has into every show. Not one to sit on a barstool and sing "Kumbaya", Steve stands and delivers during every performance, using lights, effects, but most importantly, connecting with the audience and playing good music and leaving it all onstage
