About me: I have worked many sides of food business, not all, but give me time. I am interested in the intersection of sustenance, sustainability and craft. That would roughly be the opposite of commodification, homogenization and standard bottom line driven manufacturing. I am looking to take my 25 years of experience in food, distribution, import and marketing and put it to use in the service of traditional and hand crafted foods and the people who make them.
By way of analogy, my conviction is that if on a journey all the stops look the same, you really have not gone any where. Or to quote Gertrude Stein " There's no there, there."
