The Above Photo...1st Grade,
Looking at the world both brave and afraid.....
intimidated but determined....
blessed to have been born in the USA....before I set out on The Great Search....
before I knew about Wolves in Sheep's clothing.....
or about the Road Less Traveled.....
or that people would tear down good and replace it it with error.....
In those days we read the 23rd Psalm in Public School and not a soul was harmed.....
Before I knew what I was looking for, this picture was taken....
before I could think in Wordless Languages.....
divergent energies closing in on me......
If only I knew then what I know now.....
If any of this makes sense to you, we probably should be friends.....
Influences
The Beatles - Bob Dylan - Gordon Lightfoot

Thank you for your friendship. Please take the time to stop by and sign the guest book. Thanks. You may also want to check out some of the blogs to see what Kreskin has been up to!
Steve, Very proud to meet you! And thank you for your kind words about my song "The Light Of Freedom". Our Country's Freedom is in deep trouble again, and we're angry and worried about it. But we've survived many attempts in the past. I believe that the great thing about the United States is not whether we're right or wrong(purely subjective-Right or wrong sez who?) but it is the FREEDOMS provided for by Our Constitution and Bill of Rights, unique to America! God Bless You and Yours, Doc Reed
"Mispronunciation University" -- very clever, funny song, Steve! Recently, a meteorologist on the Weather Channel reported that an incoming front had "exaggerated" (aka "exacerbated") a storm. What a hoot!
Evidently, I'm the only one on MySpace, with rare exception, who knows, or cares, that it is not a photo of "Sally and I" but of "Sally and me."
Oh well. I'm sure I butcher the language all the time, like everyone else. Unfortunately.
Hey Steve, great to hear from you! Lifetimes ago, like you, I listened to "Queen Jane..." and other Dylan tunes over and over, mesmerized by the lyrics, not wanting to miss any nuances. That one kept coming back, like the hermit with his lantern, to illuminate the path somehow. I guess that's the hallmark of a great song.
Hi Steve, Thought you might like to take a listen to some new tunes we posted -- from our brand new CD we're about to release. Let us know what you think! Sharon and Nina :)
I really Art IS Dead. It is funny, I love the humor. I was looking at the site that you were mentioning. That's great. Promote yourself! See you soon! Alexa
Hi Steve! Thanks for listening & commenting. I had a chance to listen to your tunes. I really love folk, love the feel, the stories, etc.. Let me know if you have a great melody in need of a great positive lyric.
