Steve "Zetro" Souza is an American vocalist. He is one of two singers, alongside Chuck Billy of Testament, for the thrash metal band Dublin Death Patrol. He was also the lead singer for the thrash metal bands Legacy (later to become Testament) and Exodus.
Zetro is most well-known for his time in Exodus, for which he sang from 1986 through 1992 after being brought in to replace Paul Baloff. Before fronting Exodus, he was the lead singer for the band Legacy, founded by guitarists Eric Peterson and Derrick Ramirez. They recorded one demo. At the time of his departure from Legacy, he introduced Chuck Billy to Legacy members then joined Exodus. Exodus disbanded shortly after the release of the album "Force Of Habit." He later rejoined the reformed Exodus in 2004 for the album "Tempo Of The Damned," again replacing Baloff, under more tragic circumstances, but left the band during a scheduled South American tour.
Zetro's voice is reminiscent of AC/DC's former vocalist Bon Scott, and can be heard on the AC/DC covers that Exodus recorded during the 1980's, "Overdose" and "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap".
In 2006, Zetro and Chuck Billy formed Dublin Death Patrol with their hometown friends.
As of July 2008, Zetro is the front man for the metal band Tenet along with members Byron Stroud (Strapping Young Lad, Fear Factory, Zimmer's Hole), Jed Simon (Strapping Young Lad, Zimmer's Hole), Glen Alvelais (Testament, Forbidden) and Gene Hoglan (Unearth, Dethklok, Strapping Young Lad, Dark Angel, Testament, Zimmer's Hole, Old Man's Child).

I feel lucky I had the chance to paint the cover art for the last great Exodus album, that is "Tempo Of The Damned"... The albums that came after are a prime example how vocals can spoil it all.
Anyway, if you have a while, please check our Swedish moshoholics, F.K.U.. You can easily tell who's one of their main influences... I guess you'll like them. ;) We've got 12 old school bands on our roster, but this one comes closest to the classic Exodus sound!
Do you guys remember URTO, the only Italian band featured in Get Thrashed? Their debut album "Upside down" is available now via Punishment 18 Records and is distributed by Masterpiece, Firebox (Finland), Soundforge (Greece) and Andromeda (Italy). Cheers!!!

Thanks for the add! I think Phil introduced us at NAMM a couple years ago. What do you think about the Raiders pickin' up Garcia? Good for a backup and instructor. Hopefully Al "Mr. Burns" Davis will make some good decisions this year, but we will have to wait and see...?
Thank you for the add:) EXODUS is a god of Thrash Metal for me. I like your vocal in a successive vocal. The name of my shop was named from the bay area crunch. Thrash till death!!!!
