Steve Suter is currently a member of Bonerama, the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra, and sometimes the John Mahoney Big Band. All three are collections of the finest musicians that New Orleans has to offer.
Of the three, Bonerama was the pleasant surprise. Bonerama, which initially resulted when New Orleans musicians, who excelled at what they did, got together simply to do something meaningful, and found out, much to their surprise, and quite by accident, that others greatly appreciated their efforts.
