Steve - thanks for the comments - very encouraging and much appreciated. Had come across you on you tube during one of those rambles its easy to get into checking out dobro players online! Loved Sneakin Sally video. I'm playing a Tut Taylor resonator which I was lucky enough to pick up second hand here in London. very pleased with it. I mainly play guitar/bouzouki with my Irish trad band (hoolie) but to be honest always gravitate towards the dobro when I am at home!!
Yeah!!!! Steve and Sandy ARE blessed and YES good things are happening for us small-town folks. All the credit goes to the good Lord above and I thank Him for my good friend!
Thank you!! I had a great b'day - we went to Lou's to see Johnny Winter and Sean Chambers and spent the day at your beautiful beaches!! It looks so much prettier up that way than down here.. Have you been to Mulligans? It's on the beach they have live music Friday, Saturday and Sunday - not sure what kind but.... It's in Vero not too far from you - you should check it out - we had lunch there and it was a cool atmosphere and I'm sure a dose of Steve Thorpe Blues would make it even cooler!
