Too old, too wise and too comfortable to do anything more than enjoy writing and performing my music! No career aspirations whatever - I wore out the teeshirt years ago! I've been writing songs and performing for many years, but only in the last two or three have I branched into recording my own demos in my home studio. My songs are my children I nurture them when they're young, but sometimes as they grow older they take on an identity I didn't intend, and they may even begin to annoy me so I wish they'd leave home!
Being a multi-instrumentalist helps in that I simply please myself - and if I don't like it, I've no-one to blame but myself. Complacent? Yes. Opinionated? Yes. In control of my destiny? Yes. Happy? Yes. It doesn't get much better than this! Hope you like some/all of what you hear. If you don't, move on.

NEWS: Of my six entries in the 2009 UK Songwriting Contest, four were commended by the judges and two reached the semi-final stages. There were 6000 entries this year! I'm really rather pleased.
Good news about the songwriting contest! I'm at a loose-end whilst 'Celeste' is doing the tour, so how about a little collaboration? I think we'll leave the stuff we started in 1969, but at least I've found the tapes! Luv. 'Polly'
