   Steve's Blurbs
About me:
I am an Associate Pastor for the First Baptist Church in Lawrence, Kansas. I have lived in Lawrence for over five years and I love it. Really, i am convinced that it is one of the best cities to live in not only in the Midwest, but in the United States. I have degrees from the University of Tennessee, and Baylor University. I am passionate about many things, but sometimes my passion for Tennessee Volunteer football borders on obsession, which is probably not heatlhy. Oh well. I too am passionate about the church, civil dialogue in religion and politics, and Seinfeld.
Who I'd like to meet:
Jesus, The late John Paul II, Jerry Seinfeld, Paul Simon, Bono, William Willimon, Stanley Hauerwas, John Calvin, Martin Luther, Erasmus, Andy Griffith, C.S. Lewis, Phillip Yancey, Eugene Peterson, Wendell Berry, Larry King,

Heck of a football season at old KU. I hear they have a pretty good basketball team too.

Are you guys hitting up Wichita Falls this spring break, or you gonna change it up this year?

Dude, you have got to trick out your myspace page. All the cool pastors are doing it.

Brother Steven Douglas Dad Debustky! You know what? I was the oldest person of the group who went out for lunch after church Sunday. That frightens me. But I'm glad that the Sophomores are beginning that camaraderie that they can take with them for the next few years

Do all the women on myspace konw that you are a rare mix of raw masculinity and disarming vulnerability? Peace out, Rev. Moore Boy

now that we're myspace friends, i know that we are actually real friends, because it wasn't enough just to meet you in person. :)

anyway, it was really nice meeting you and hanging out. I enjoyed all the wonderful stories. I'll never forget me thinking that chad said "anti-pastor" salad instead of antipasto. :)

You're a blogger, huh? I'm gonna subscribe, just so I can see what crazy things you come up with to tell your admiring public. Some random Drew guy in Waco is campaigning to replace you, though, so you'd better copywright your Kansas blog persona. Hope things are going well, Rachel
