Steve Watts Band, formed in late 2005, is an amalgamation of some of the best and brightest musicians in the Northern California paradise of Arcata. Featuring members of Full Sun and Something Different the band boasts a muti-layered sound ranging from simplistic singer/songwriter pieces to raging, multi-movement castillian flavored acid-rock epics. This combination boasts a flair for improvisation based in a bedrock of musical structure, sure to please discriminating fans and musicians alike. SWB performs all original material (written by the bands namesake Steve Watts [Passion Presents, Full Sun].) Members of the band have performed studied/worked at such prestigious facilities as Full Sail and Musicians Institute (Hollywood) as well as having shared the stage with such luminaries as Sons of Champlin, Merl Saunders, Joe Higgs, Martin Fierro and many, many more.
