I am a singer/songwriter from Larose, LA but my second (soon to be first) home is Greenville, SC. I LOVE THIS PLACE. Larose is about 35 miles south of New Orleans and is where I grew up. Two years out of high school, I decided to quit playing music and build some kind of career which is what I did. Twenty years later I decided to write my first song, recorded it along with 9 other songs, formed a band and played a few shows. Then I met Edwin McCain who was one of my idols even though he's younger than I am. Nevertheless, I wrote the CD Sometimes and recorded it with Edwin and Noel Golden in Greenville which is when I fell in love with the place. Two days after the CD came out, I went on tour with Edwin and had the time of my life. A year later the WILLIAMS RILEY BAND was formed.
Anyway, the best time of my life is yet to come! The all new Williams Riley Band has just completed it's first CD and it's AWESOME! I hope you like it.
