ASCAP called the song, “The summer song of 2005.” Soon after, he penned, I Get To, recorded by Blue County, which rose to 1 on the Christian country music charts. George Strait has recorded Steves song Where've I Been All My Life, and is the second song on his new album Twang. Listen for Steve's song A Fathers Love (The Only Way He Knew How) recorded by Bucky Covington which is currently on the country charts. Now a writer with SESAC, he has been affiliated with EMI Publishing, Malaco Music and Green Hills Music Group, headed by Woody Bomar.
