The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Carole King, Elton John, Cat Stevens, CSN, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, America, The Eagles, Pure Prairie League, Jackson Browne, James Taylor, Dan Fogelberg, Warren Zevon, Poco, and Billy Joel. Pretty much in that order...hundreds...no thousands of others followed.
Music is my addiction. I've always loved writing songs. I played all over the North Coast when I got out of high school then
moved out to LA and lived there until my mid-20s. Had some cool things
happen - went to Nashville to make a record - record never quite got made
but I sure learned a lot about drinking whiskey. So back to the West Coast I
went to make another record. A couple years later I realized that I loved
music about as much as I hated the music business. I left LA, and
twenty years went by.
I released this record, Across The Landscape, on Primitive Records.
A label I started back in 1996 to help promote the debut releases of
The Jellybricks and ivet,
but had been inactive since 2000. This record received a great response from radio,
getting close to 200 spins a week at over 40 stations in the Triple
A/Americana/Pop formats. A lot of old and new friends helped me out
here, and it was a blast. My buddy Jeff Pevar plays all the "good" guitars.
Jeff has a resume that spans 25 years with artists as diverse as Ray Charles
to James Taylor, and for the past decade he's mainly worked with David
Crosby and CSN. T Lavitz and Rod Morgenstein from The Dixie Dregs/Jazz Is
Dead appear on three of the songs. Tom Kristich and Larry Kennedy from The
Jellybricks can be heard here as well. And another delight is Leah Kunkel on
backing vocals. I have been a fan of hers since Jackson Browne's first
record, and her incredible voice appears on about half of my favorite
records from the 70s.

CountryHome Forum have more than 5,000 members. Each news you submit to CountryHome Forum will released to my weekly Newsletter with more than 50,000 readers.
Please submit your artist news and events to CountryHome Forum to help your artists to get well known better in Europe. If you do not have the time to submit your artist news and events by yourself, please send it me to: Ch.Lamitschka@t-online.de and I will submit them by myself to CountryHome Forum.
I know that many artists from North America don't have their music videos uploaded to German video websites. The most popular websites are MyVideo.de and ClipFish.de. That means your European audience does not have the chance to find them.
I understand that most of you don't speak German and are not able to upload videos because of the language barrier. If you would like me to upload your videos to the German video websites, please let me know.
Thanks

Hey it's your buddy Mike Falzone (no one says buddy anymore). I just wanted to give you my record "Fun with Honesty" for free. I'd also like to give you an obnoxiously long hug, but due to our proximity, I don't think that can happen today. Please give it a listen. If I'm ever Famous one day you can say, "Hey! That loser gave me his album for free!"...then you can laugh at everyone who paid $20 for it at Best Buy. Have a great day!
My new single "I Can't Kiss Me" just became available at ITUNES and you can watch the video at YOUTUBE. The full album comes out on Aug 11th! Here's the video!
Thanks for the compliment, Steve. I'm glad you are enjoying my music! Be sure to come back to my page and sign up for my email list if you haven't already. There is some exclusive content for you!

In case I hit the road in a sudden blast of craziness or road trip to run around the gulf beach for awhile; I thought about you and your way cool style. Just freakin busy and miss visiting with you. If I get to fooling around the red coral dreams or catch myself in a net of star fish, I need you to know your a best friend. Also, me being a bit off the wall eccentric I want you to know that you have really made me smile. It is not so much of what we say...it is about knowing our own hearts in a laugh. One only you and I noticed. I am very happy we are friends. Did you know that some mornings and at first light, I rub my eyes and play in deep pools of words that tease? Seriously. Even before coffee. Most of the time the poems are written only for you. That my sweet friend is really true. Free Love. Please allow the bear to care. I painted late into the morning. I will be awake a few hours after just going to bed and my fingers and hands are smudged in rainbow colors. It is the love for painting. You should know that about me as we are true friends. In few weeks I may be headed to Siesta Keys Florida to explore living on the south gulf beach for awhile. It is wednesday and I am just listening to a little James Taylor and thanking you for the miracles of your smile. I am very happy we met and by the way, Ive always like your style. You have been a great inspiration in my life. Well I better jet for now, but, lets catch up soon. I like us being friends. Protect the Wild Things! Peace and love always, Kicking Bear Barry The Eccentric poet

Taste the light amber of honey glowing within fairies spreading star dust reflections gentle in wonder, send me to answer her molten lake of secrets unfolding. In these whispers of garden sight I see her winking with firefly lashes. Her eyes emeralds green in ache teased by the mystic place masterfully eternal enchanting the spell bound dark flower. Her gliding wings flirting slippery in dizzy romance to a visitor of celestial streams falling together face upon face. What heat forming mars turns the fighting shrew loose upon the ravens cry while the dove so frail feels with awe. She sings so I must hear her song of echoes deep from strawberry blush covered lips swelling to the drifting edges of once more. Her mockingbird laugh betrays the rebel yell under attack falling in tides shored near love and why under the moon dance limitless with such release enraged far from pain embracing? Challenged, the starwinged adventurer unleashed cavernous storms with her body moving in more than tales of kissing light. Her taste of fate whistling to the corners of rainbow archways come begging love gold and delightful in a weary potion dipped by fingers of hunger. What sight I see in silver glances brushed by and by imitating angels wings yet stubborn never lifting her veil of night. Image of ecstacy dancing as dreamers drunk in beauty laid in service to sacrifice upon the alter of touching rumor. Caterpillars turned butterflies sit with her alone feeding grapes starving for the designed feast of his riddled sight. Their whispering words composed in paints slipping to venus her bed. Together on the bare bones of a mornings window weeping joyful tears in a blue haze to beckon more magic from a fairies magical gaze, these are sacred ways and no more are the empty moments as hearts falling to pieces. Bring forth the radiant feathered crown and the sword to serenade mortals who fear so much. Branded consuming morsels her spell never ceases. Merciful is freedom held ransom to drea
Mother, thank you for this life I now share with others. I understand your teachings are to guide my strength and to spread the heart of love to all I encounter. I have indeed listened to your message and witnessed truth by your own walk in beauty. Your nature is not taken for granted by my sight or by my means to life. I have found by your song life that there is No greater gift to be found within myself, than to be thankful to my own higher power for the journies your voice of nature has led me by abilities to dwell upon this Sacred Ground I share. It is our choice to take the path for the Greater good but, more than that, it is our ultimate responsibility to protect Our Mother Earth and all that dwells upon Her. All Love all ways, Kicking Bear Barry The Eccentric Poet http://kicking-bear-barry.fineartamerica.com/
Our native footprints are engraved ancient within the stone pathway along the canyon walls. Our flute songs are healing red clay murderd in the stone mountains penetrating the new yawn within the smoke of our sacred fire. The prayer filled stillness of these deerskin covered feet annoint the heartbeat of visions deep within the waterfalls of all vitality. I see you here gazing into the wild forest wearing the scented oil. An oath spoken in rain droplets revolve and shine fervent as the perfect window of love and peace. Water blessings are falling into spring life calling. What pleasure it is to witness your opening of the hallowed veil of passion. What perennial fruit is born in kindness to feel your expressions in dreams unfrozen by the long winded tundra? Loose us vibrant into the howling universe as the divine offering in a summer wind. Feel me wanting nothing more than springtide pedals unfolding our salvation. I whisper secret thoughts of you weaved by gentle flowers blossoming near the crystal cave. Aware of the summit view milked by grace as a miracle in cosmic beauty we land brave and sure to love again. Undressed green pedicel, I am cured here in the rooted valley of sweetness. It is I who is speaking and held tender by the tall turf swayed by this moment of splendor. My heartbreak captured foolish by natures awe. Will you come to the pond of pine poking at the paws imprint and reflect upon all we saw? Will you drink with me while we feed from the wild berries choked back by thorns? May we kneel wide awake looking skyward. What labor of love forgives our intrusion upon this land not ours. May it heal in time.
All Love, Protect The Wild Things !! Kicking Bear Barry
