About me:
Originally from Tampa, Florida I moved here to Anacortes, Washington in 1999 where I partnered in starting an electronic component distributorship. After the events of 9/11 our business saw a sharp downturn and I decided it was time to reevaluate my career choices. Having had experience in search and rescue with the military I chose to go into emergency services and now work for the local hospital ambulance. Photography has always been a particularly large part of my life as well.
I have been a semi-pro photographer off and on for around 15 years. I've noticed over the years that as I grow as a photographer my style tends to change from shoot to shoot. I've also come to the realization that the subject of the photograph greatly impacts the eventual outcome of the work. Because of that I strongly believe that photography is a collaborative art between the photographer and the model. Because of that belief it is very important to me that the model I am working with understands the concept behind the shoot and is completely comfortable with everything we are doing.
I try to maintain a close relationship with all of the models I work with and although I do require a model release I always at least attempt to confirm any usage of the resulting photos prior to releasing them. I am sensitive to the fact that people change and may at some point no longer wish to have certain photos published at certain times of their lives.
Who I'd like to meet: I am available for professional or personal portrait work, families, children, individual, couples, groups, special events, sport events or teams. I am also available to help with modeling portfolios, head shots, etc.
Need a shot of your business or building for advertising or promotion? I'm here for you. If you have any need for a photographer feel free to get in touch. If I can't help you with your specific project I may be able to point you in the right direction.
My rates vary by project and are very flexible and fair.
yeah, you know me, Im up for just about anything. I'm totally outgoing, I just need to get into a little bit of a comfort zone. So I'm thinking setting up for something in the middle and we'll go from there. lol.
